The BGX63 brings the crossover thinking of the larger BGX yachts down to 20 metres without diluting it. The layout puts the owner at the centre of the boat, living space runs from the saloon straight out to the water rather than stopping at a bulkhead, and the volume on board reads well above what the 65-foot measurement suggests.
Three lower-deck plans are drawn. Two cabins with two or three heads suit owners who cruise as a couple and want a larger owner’s suite; the three-cabin plan adds capacity for family or guests. Crew accommodation is provided in every version, though the boat is deliberately sized to be handled by an experienced owner alone.
Lou Codega drew the hull, as he has for the whole Bluegame line, and it is built for distance rather than short hops: stable, efficient and predictable in a seaway. Twin Volvo Penta IPS1050 D13 units of 800 hp each are standard, with 900 hp IPS1200 on the option list. Top speed is 30 knots, cruise 26, and 3,000 litres of fuel supports proper passage-making.
At 41 tonnes full load with a 1.42-metre draft, the BGX63 anchors where deeper boats cannot. For a buyer weighing a conventional flybridge 60-footer, this is the alternative that trades the third deck for usable outdoor living at sea level.
