The BGX73 answers a question most 74-foot yachts leave alone: where should the owner sleep? Bluegame put the owner’s suite amidships, at the centre of the boat, with direct access to the main living space and the beach area on one side and a private room on the other that converts to a guest cabin when it is needed. Privacy holds without cutting the owner off from the rest of the yacht.
Glass does the rest of the work. The saloon opens to a beach area that closes off when the weather turns, which is what makes the boat usable outside high summer. Four lower-deck configurations are drawn, running from two cabins to three, one with twin beds, so the accommodation can be matched to how the yacht will actually be used.
Lou Codega’s hull is the constant across the Bluegame range, tuned for long passages rather than short sprints. Standard power is twin Volvo Penta IPS1200 D13 units at 662 kW each, with IPS1350 at 735 kW on the option list. Top speed is 30 knots, cruise 26, fuel capacity 4,000 litres.
