The Phantom 65 is the boat Fairline built when it decided a flybridge did not have to look like one. Alberto Mancini’s sportbridge sits low and swept back, so from the quay the profile reads as a coupe with an upper helm rather than a three-deck box, and the yard gains a second entertaining level without the windage.

Twenty metres of hull gives real volume. The main deck runs open from the aft cockpit through to a galley set forward beside the helm, with glazing deep enough that the saloon feels like part of the cockpit. Below, three cabins are standard: a full-beam owner’s suite amidships, a VIP in the bow and a twin, with a four-cabin plan and an extended VIP among the published options. A crew berth aft keeps the service route separate.

Power comes from twin Caterpillar C18s of 1,150 horsepower each, enough for 30 knots on a 38 tonne hull, and the C32 pairing lifts that to 37. Fuel is 4,177 litres, so the legs suit a Mediterranean season rather than short hops.

For a buyer at this size the Phantom sits between the Italian sportbridges and the heavier Dutch and German alternatives. It is British-built and hand-finished at Oundle, and it holds value better than the volume on offer would suggest. Very few reach the second-hand market in any given year.
