She was drawn as a coupe from the first line, not cut down from one.
Prestige developed the 460S alongside its flybridge sister rather than removing a deck after the fact, and the difference shows in how naturally the proportions sit. The saloon doors extend forward to create L-shaped seating in the cockpit, a configuration unusual on a boat under 15 metres and one that makes the aft deck feel larger than its footprint. Moving the windscreen forward frees extra length inside the saloon while still leaving room on the foredeck for 2 metre sunbeds, a balance most coupes in this size range do not manage as cleanly.
32 knots on top, 24 knots all day.
Twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 drives come as standard, the option most owners settle on for the balance of speed and range, with IPS 500 available for a lighter touch. Cruise holds at an easy 24 knots, and with 1,240 litres of fuel on board she carries a 240 nautical mile range, enough for a proper coastal run without planning around a fuel stop. At 12.4 tonnes displacement and a 1.1 metre draught, she stays nimble close to shore while still carrying the volume her beam promises. Pod steering keeps low speed handling precise, docking without the drama a shaft driven boat this size can bring.
A full beam master, set exactly where the ride is calmest.
Positioned amidships, the owner’s cabin runs the full width of the hull and comes with its own ensuite, the quietest and most stable spot on board. A forward guest cabin uses scissor berths that convert between twin and double configurations, also ensuite, keeping both principal cabins equally well appointed rather than favouring one over the other. A single berth cabin aft covers crew or an extra guest without intruding on the main accommodation. Prestige’s own Design Department handled the interior, working in satin finished grey oak with parquet flooring throughout, a warmer material choice than the gloss finishes common at this size.
The galley sits aft, right where the day actually happens.
Fitted with Corian worktops and positioned close to the cockpit, it keeps whoever is cooking part of the conversation rather than shut away below. A retractable glass sunroof opens above the lower helm, drawing light and air into the saloon even when the boat is under way. By day the connected cockpit, saloon and foredeck comfortably host 12 guests, moving easily from the L-shaped cockpit seating through sliding doors into the saloon and out again to the sunbeds forward. It is a layout built around entertaining in motion, not just at anchor.
A considered coupe, priced to match her size rather than her ambition.
Garroni Design handles both naval architecture and exterior styling, a continuity that explains how resolved the 460S feels from hull to deckhouse, while Prestige’s own engineering team manages the build. A single crew member runs the boat comfortably day to day, keeping running costs in line with her 14.3 metre length. New, she is priced from 650,000 euros, a position that puts genuine coupe design, not a cut down flybridge, within reach of an owner who might otherwise have settled for less. For a buyer who wants presence without excess, the 460S makes the stronger argument.
