Sunseeker Manhattan 55 For Sale

The Manhattan 55 answers a question Sunseeker owners keep asking: how much social space will a 17 metre flybridge yacht give up before it stops working as a boat? Very little, on this evidence. Curved glass sweeps the superstructure and stainless accents pick out the sheer, but the real argument is inside, where the main deck reads as one connected space rather than a series of rooms. The galley sits aft with optional bar stools, keeping whoever is cooking in the cockpit conversation instead of shut away forward.

The transom is where the 55 separates itself from boats of its length. A bathing platform and Beach Club arrangement add a built-in barbecue, an overhead shower and fold-down transom seating, turning the stern into a second cockpit at water level. Three cabins sit below with two heads between them, and the flybridge above carries its own seating and helm.

Power comes from twin MAN i6 800 PS engines on shafts, with Volvo Penta IPS-950 pods offered as an alternative for owners who prefer joystick control in a marina. Sunseeker quotes up to 32 knots and 230 nautical miles at 21 knots from 2,200 litres, figures that place the boat squarely in weekend and coastal cruising rather than long passage making.

For a buyer moving up from a sportscruiser, the Manhattan 55 offers flybridge accommodation and a genuine beach club without the running costs of a larger hull.
