Sunseeker built the Predator 74 XPS as a limited edition sharpening of a hull that already had a following. The platform is the Predator 74, 22.82 metres on a 5.38 metre beam, but the XPS specification reworks almost every surface a buyer touches. Carbon fibre trims, reflective panels and stainless steel cabinet detailing replace the standard joinery treatment, and indirect dimmable lighting lets the saloon change character between afternoon and evening. Contrasting fabrics and rich lacquers give the interior an edge the base boat does not carry.
The cockpit is where the package earns its name. An electric lowering carbon fibre table converts the aft social space in seconds, and the upholstery across the seating and sunpads was upgraded throughout. LED navigation lights and a dark grey hull with silver superstructure were offered for owners who wanted the specification read from a distance.
Power comes from twin MAN V12s, 1550PS as standard and 1900PS optional, driving through conventional shafts for 40 knots. Fuel capacity of 4,800 litres gives 330 nautical miles at a 21 knot cruise. Below, three cabins and three heads are standard, with a four cabin plan available.
Production ran from 2021 to 2024, so the XPS trades as a young, low hour proposition rather than a project. For a buyer choosing between this and a standard Predator 74, the XPS is the version that holds attention on a crowded quay.
