DRAGONFLY I is a Sanlorenzo SX88, the crossover that redrew what a 27 metre yacht could be. In place of the usual stacked decks and narrow side passages, she offers a single, flowing level of living space that runs from the beach club at the stern straight through to the bow. Zuccon International Project drew her clean, low exterior and Piero Lissoni shaped the interior, a pairing that gives her the feel of a modern beach house rather than a conventional motor yacht.
Her defining quality is that open, one level main deck. Full height glass wraps the whole space, so the salon, the dining table and the open galley share the same light and the same view, and sliding doors fold the interior open onto the shaded aft deck. The result is a living area that feels enormous for the size, finished in warm timber, natural stone and soft neutral fabrics that keep everything calm and grounded. Whether the doors are open or closed, the whole level reads as one continuous room between the sea on either side.
Outside, DRAGONFLY I is built around the water. The wide beach club opens on three sides at the stern to create a low platform right at sea level, backed by a garage of tenders and toys. Above, an upper deck carries a shaded lounge and bar for long evenings, while a private curved sunpad sits forward on the bow for quieter moments. Her shallow draft lets her tuck into bays and coves that larger yachts have to admire from a distance.
Below, the four cabin layout sleeps eight. The master is a calm, low lit room with hull portholes and its own ensuite, joined by a VIP double and two further cabins, including a twin, all finished in the same restful palette and each with an ensuite. It is a layout that suits a family or a group of friends equally, with real privacy for every couple on board, and cabins finished to the same standard as the living space rather than treated as an afterthought.
A crew of four runs her quietly, close enough to look after the party and unobtrusive enough to leave it in peace. Three engines give her a genuine turn of speed when the plan calls for it, yet she is happiest at an easy cruise, slipping between anchorages without fuss. That balance of pace and calm is exactly what makes her such an easy yacht to spend time on.
She cruises the Balearics, at home among the clear water and cliffs of Ibiza, Formentera and Mallorca, with the range and shallow draft to reach the quiet corners that make the islands worth the trip. Short scenic passages, long lunches at anchor and lively nights ashore are exactly what she is set up for.
DRAGONFLY I suits guests who want design led, indoor outdoor living over traditional scale, in one of the most rewarding cruising grounds in the western Mediterranean. She is modern, warm and genuinely easy to enjoy, a yacht that makes a week on the water feel effortless.
