UNICKA is a Sanlorenzo SD92, delivered in 2015 with interiors by Francesco Paszkowski, and she is a good example of what that pairing does well. The SD line is Sanlorenzo at its most restrained, a semi-displacement hull built for quiet, economical cruising rather than speed, and Paszkowski dresses it in warm timber and cream with clean lines and a lot of natural light. At just under 28 metres on a 7 metre beam she has the volume to sleep ten in real comfort while staying easy to handle and easy to live aboard.
Ten guests sleep in five cabins. The owner takes a suite forward on the main deck, a wide bed in warm timber with large windows close on both sides that bring the sea right into the room, and a private bathroom. Below are two VIP doubles, a further double and a twin, each with its own bathroom, a layout that reads well for a family or for couples travelling together. A crew of four runs the yacht from service spaces kept clear of the accommodation, and stabilisers hold her level at anchor and under way.
The main deck is built around one warm, light salon. A long sofa and swivel chairs gather around a low table with glass down both sides, and full doors aft slide open to the shaded deck so the room runs straight out to the sea. Forward, a separate dining table sits under the same timber ceiling with large windows keeping the coast in view through dinner, and a second lounge gives the salon a quieter corner off the main seating. The whole interior is carried in the same palette, so the rooms feel of a piece.
Outside, UNICKA spreads her guests across several decks. The main aft deck carries a full dining table under the flybridge overhang, shaded and open to the water astern, a step above the swim platform. The flybridge runs wide with its own dining table, a bar and sun lounging under and around the hardtop, the social heart of the yacht on a warm day, and the foredeck and side decks give quieter spots to slip away to. It is a lot of usable outdoor space for a yacht of her size.
A tender and a full spread of watersports gear come with the yacht, from jet skis and SEABOBs to paddleboards, kayaks and snorkelling equipment, launched off the swim platform for guests who want to be in the water rather than beside it. The semi-displacement hull keeps her quiet and economical on passage, which suits the unhurried way she is meant to be used, moving between anchorages at an easy pace and lying comfortably once the anchor is down.
Her home water is the bay of Naples and the Amalfi coast, and she is well matched to it. Capri and Ischia sit within a short run, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello line the coast to the south, and there are quiet coves on both sides to anchor in for lunch and a swim. With her warm interior, her generous deck space and her calm ride, UNICKA suits a family or a group of friends who want to take that stretch of coast slowly and treat the yacht as the base for the week rather than just transport between towns.
