S/Y Alexandra II is a Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67, a performance sailing catamaran that combines genuine speed under sail with generous, comfortable living space. Launched in 2022 and just over twenty metres long, she carries eight guests in four cabins with a crew of four, and she cruises the Greek islands through the summer, where her shallow draft and easy motion make light work of moving between the anchorages of the Aegean. Full teak decks and a bright, contemporary interior give her a polished, well-kept feel throughout.
The flybridge is one of the yacht’s signature spaces, a vast open-air lounge with panoramic views on every side and two large sun beds aft, an ideal place for relaxed afternoons or a sunset drink under way. On the main deck, guests have several areas to spread out: the foredeck carries a comfortable lounge built around a jacuzzi, a favourite spot to unwind with a view of the horizon, while the aft cockpit is the social hub of the yacht, with a dining table for all eight guests, deep seating and a hydraulic bathing platform that gives seamless access to the sea for swimming, launching the toys or an early yoga session over the water.
Her interior saloon is bright and inviting, a calm space to relax, play cards or watch a film between days on the water. A comfortable lounge with pale sofas sits under wraparound windows that keep the room full of light and sea views, and a bar and servery are on hand for drinks and coffee. The galley is set down on the lower deck rather than in the saloon, which keeps the main living area quiet, open and uncluttered.
Accommodation is arranged over four cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom. The master suite is the most generous, with a desk area, a double-sink bathroom and dual access, opening both from inside the yacht and directly from the foredeck jacuzzi area. A queen cabin with its own en-suite and television and two further queen guest cabins, each with a bathroom and access from the aft deck, complete the layout, giving a group of eight private, comfortable rooms finished to the same modern standard.
A true performance catamaran, Alexandra II is rewarding and lively under sail, quick enough to make a passage exhilarating and stable enough to keep it comfortable, with the engines always on hand when the wind drops or a precise harbour approach is needed. She is equally happy spending a lazy day at anchor, the jacuzzi and the bathing platform turning a quiet cove into a private lido for the afternoon.
Her water toys are plentiful, with a Grand 420 tender, two Scubajet kits, two paddleboards, a two-seat kayak, water skis, a wakeboard, two sea scooters, a banana and towable and full snorkelling and fishing gear for endless fun on the sea. A long-standing, well-drilled crew of four looks after the sailing, the cooking and the service with warmth and discretion. Elegant, quick and easy to live with, S/Y Alexandra II offers the space of a large catamaran and the pace of a proper sailing yacht for a family or group exploring the Greek islands.
