SOPHIA is a 96.6-metre Feadship superyacht, delivered in 2017 and refreshed in 2022, recognised as Motor Yacht of the Year at the World Superyacht Awards and the recipient of multiple design accolades. Built with naval architecture by De Voogt and interiors by RWD and Chahan Interior Design, she represents one of the most accomplished large charter yachts on the market today, blending award-winning craftsmanship with a residential sense of comfort across every deck.
Up to 12 guests are accommodated across seven luxurious cabins, served by an elevator connecting all floors. The full-beam Owner’s suite is a private retreat in its own right, with 180-degree views over the foredeck, a dedicated outdoor deck with dining and lounge areas around a firepit, a cosy fireplace lounge, a home cinema and a skylight for stargazing, along with separate his-and-hers ensuites and walk-in wardrobes. The remaining guests are housed across two VIP suites and four generous double cabins, each with ensuite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes.
SOPHIA’s onboard amenities set her apart even among large charter yachts. A nine-by-3.6-metre glass-bottomed swimming pool on the main deck aft forms the illuminated ceiling of an expansive beach club below, where the pool’s S-curved deep end descends to 2.5 metres and side terraces open to nearly double the space. Forward, a commercially registered helipad enables swift transfers ashore, while a versatile games deck can be configured for football, basketball, paddle and functional fitness, complemented by a further indoor gym on the sun deck. Guests seeking rest and recovery can retreat to the dedicated wellness centre, complete with a massage room, a generous hammam and a snow room.
Entertainment is equally well considered. The sun deck offers an aft bar, outdoor cinema screen, al fresco dining table and built-in seating, while the wood-fired pizza oven and charcoal barbecue give the three onboard chefs scope for memorable dining experiences. Indoors, a Bentley-inspired cinema and elegant lounges on the bridge and main decks, complete with a baby grand piano, extend the entertaining spaces well into the evening.
A professional crew of 32 supports an extensive selection of water toys and tenders, including jet skis, Seabobs, wakeboards, water skis, paddleboards, diving equipment and a 7.15-metre inflatable slide, alongside a 10-metre Tenderworks limousine tender and a Super Air Nautique ski boat, ensuring every type of charter guest is well catered for on the water.
