DREAM is a 60-metre motor yacht built by the German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen, delivered in 2001 as Excellence III and most recently refreshed during a comprehensive 2023 refit that included a total revamp of all exterior furniture, new Baccarat crockery and a full systems update including Starlink connectivity. Donald Starkey’s exterior gives her a confident, classic profile, while Bannenberg & Rowell’s interior redesign brings warmth and a genuinely contemporary feel throughout, blending rich woods with myrtle and honey onyx accents and Asian-inspired artwork. With a gross tonnage of 1,092, DREAM sits at the upper end of the scale for 60-metre yachts, giving her noticeably more interior volume than many of her peers.
Accommodation comfortably sleeps 12 guests across seven cabins. The full-beam master suite is a genuine highlight at roughly 110 square metres, occupying the main deck with a separate office, an indulgent bath and shower room, and enough space to feel like a private apartment rather than a stateroom. The VIP suite, positioned on the bridge deck, includes its own private jacuzzi tub and shower, while two further double cabins and two flexible twin/double cabins complete the layout, four of which can also be configured as king-bedded rooms depending on the makeup of the charter party. Two convertible cabins can additionally combine with an adjoining sitting room to form two larger suites when needed.
The interior spaces are built for both relaxation and entertaining. Through a wide corridor decorated with Asian sculptures, the dining room continues the same rich material palette and benefits from large main deck windows that flood the space with natural light. The sky lounge, finished in warmer tones with cream sofas and a cream carpet touched with orange hues, is designed as the place to retreat to after dinner, complete with a 103-inch cinema screen and a games table for quieter evenings. A dedicated gym and a separate massage room, fitted with yoga mats, a massage table, a flat-screen TV and an en suite bath and shower, round out DREAM’s wellness offering.
Outdoors, the theme of generous space continues. A large bridge deck aft dining area suits both formal and casual meals, while the sun deck offers a substantial bar, sun lounges and a jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads, all designed for long days spent at anchor. DREAM is also known for her sensational inflatable waterslide, a longstanding favourite with families and a defining feature of her charter reputation, alongside a broader collection of jet skis, seabobs, waterskis, wakeboards and inflatable towables.
