HOLDINu2019 MY OWN is a 55.4-metre motor yacht built by the Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise in 2011, having undergone significant refits in 2014, 2019 and a comprehensive $6 million refit in 2024 that has left her in the best condition of her life. Designed externally by Dubois Naval Architects and styled internally by H2 Yacht Design, she is an award-winner for both the original build and her subsequent refits, and currently presenting with a thoroughly updated interior, state-of-the-art AV systems, rebuilt Jacuzzi and new furnishings throughout.
Her H2 Yacht Design interior leans heavily on Art Deco influence, using Macassar ebony and stainless steel set against beiges, whites and greys, with accents of petrol blue in the main salon. Holly Hunt lounge chairs accompany a U-shaped sofa in complementary fabrics, and light voile curtains frame large windows. The result is contemporary yet comfortable, a distinction that holds well even after more than a decade of charter use. Equally important is the Nikki Beach feel of the main aft deck, which uses modular Paolo Lenti outdoor furniture to create a social space that converts between outdoor cinema, large lounge and sheer-curtained private area at will.
Sun deck life is one of HOLDINu2019 MY OWNu2019s strongest cards. A counter-current pool, oversized Jacuzzi, bar and gym anchor the upper-most deck, along with a shaded dining area. Access from a drop-down beach club at sea level keeps the water toy experience smooth and relaxed, and her certified RYA Training Centre status means the crew can formally teach guests how to use the collection safely. That collection includes wave runners, waterskis, wakeboards, paddleboards, kayaks, a Flyboard, a water slide, a Lift e-foil, a Sea-Doo and an inflatable pool.
Accommodation sleeps 12 guests across six cabins. The full-beam master suite and a VIP cabin both sit on the main deck with direct access to a main deck forward lounge, while the lower deck holds three double cabins and one twin cabin.
