SEAWOLF X is a 42.8-metre hybrid-electric catamaran delivered in 2024 by the acclaimed Italian shipyard Rossinavi, a genuinely groundbreaking yacht that represents the yard’s first multihull and one of the most technically ambitious projects it has ever undertaken. Multi-award winning, including a Judges’ Commendation at the 2025 World Superyacht Awards and a win for interior design, she was conceived to reduce the noise and environmental impact traditionally associated with large superyachts without sacrificing the volume, comfort and social spaces expected at this level. Her low, sleek, almost automotive profile is the work of Fulvio de Simoni Yacht Design, who drew cues from the car world and adopted a distinctive dual inverted bow, while the eco-luxury interior by New York studio Meyer Davis takes its inspiration from the sun, sea and sand, using natural materials, light woods and abundant daylight to create a calm and sophisticated atmosphere throughout. At the heart of SEAWOLF X is a full hybrid-electric propulsion platform combining twin electric motors, large lithium-ion battery banks, solar panels and diesel generators managed by an advanced power system and even a bespoke Rossinavi artificial intelligence that anticipates guest needs and optimises efficiency. The result is remarkable, cutting fuel use by up to 75 per cent and enabling more than 24 hours of near-silent time at anchor with no generators running, as well as vibration-free electric cruising. On day trips she can run fully electric, and even on transatlantic passages she can cruise in electric mode for the majority of the time. Her 13.75-metre catamaran beam creates an exceptional amount of internal volume for her length, along with a shallow 1.85-metre draft that lets her tuck into coves and sheltered bays beyond the reach of conventional yachts. Life aboard revolves around three distinct outdoor living spaces, an aft cockpit centred on a swimming pool flanked by sunpads, an expansive sundeck for lounging and sunbathing, and a versatile bow area with a hidden pool that transforms into an open-air cinema. A beach club with a sauna and a jacuzzi complete a wellness and leisure offering far beyond the norm for a 40-metre yacht. Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests in five suites. The spectacular full-beam owner’s suite occupies the main deck forward and spans some 70 square metres, functioning almost as a private apartment with a skylight above the bed, full-height glazing, side observation lounges, a private office, a large dressing room, a marble bathroom with twin stone sinks and an enclosed gym. The lower-deck guest cabins, set within the hulls, enjoy unusually good headroom and large hull-side windows that flood them with natural light, finished in the same soft contemporary style with textured fabrics and warm timber. A professional crew of seven ensures relaxed, attentive service. Cruising the Mediterranean in summer, from the French Riviera to Corsica and Sardinia, and the Caribbean in winter, SEAWOLF X offers charter guests a rare combination of futuristic sustainable technology, shallow-draft versatility and genuinely warm, family-friendly luxury aboard a yacht quite unlike anything else on the water. Available for charter through Cecil Wright and Partners, she is offered at rates from EUR 280,000 per week plus expenses, a rare opportunity to experience the next generation of sustainable luxury yachting.
