About Burrasca

Perini Navi has built its reputation on sailing yachts that perform as seriously as they live, and BURRASCA is where that reputation turned a corner. Naval architecture optimized by Ron Holland gave the yard’s signature ketch rig a sharper edge, and at 58 metres she carries that pedigree at genuine scale — spacious without losing the sailor’s instinct for speed and balance that defines the marque.

What sets her apart from most yachts in this category is what she carries below deck. A full gym, sauna and steam room sit aboard a sailing yacht that still sails as her design intended, not a motor yacht’s wellness deck bolted onto a hull with masts. The gym connects directly to the master suite, so a morning workout does not mean a walk through public rooms in gym kit. That suite continues the thought with dual dressing areas and its own study, a layout built for an owner who works and rests without ever feeling like a guest on their own boat.

Under way, a brand-new set of North Sails keeps her performance current, and BURRASCA cruises at 13 knots with 16 in reserve — numbers that matter less as bragging rights and more as the difference between a rushed passage and a relaxed one when the itinerary calls for distance. Her aluminium hull and ABS classification back a 5,000-nautical-mile range, and unlike most charter yachts confined to a single season, she genuinely repositions: Greece and the wider Mediterranean through summer, the Caribbean and Middle East through winter. Few sailing yachts this size hold a year-round itinerary rather than a six-month one.

Interiors lean warm and traditional, rich wood joinery throughout the salon, dining room and six staterooms, offset by contemporary art and a considered mix of navy and cream fabrics that keep the space from feeling dated. The main salon doubles as a genuine games room — chess and backgammon boards sit ready rather than stowed — and a formal dining room seats the full guest complement under a striking still-life mounted on teak panelling. A study just off the salon converts into an optional sixth guest cabin, giving charterers a flexible twelfth berth only when the group needs it.

On deck, a spa pool gives guests a place to unwind that a smaller sailing yacht simply cannot offer, framed by teak decking and open rigging rather than the enclosed sundecks of her motor-yacht peers. The forward cockpit’s dining and lounge seating puts guests directly in the rigging’s shadow rather than behind glass, which is, after all, the point of chartering a serious sailing yacht rather than a yacht that merely carries sails.

Six cabins — three doubles, two twins and one convertible — sleep twelve across a crew of ten, a ratio that supports the kind of active, itinerary-driven charter BURRASCA is built for: day sails under real canvas, wellness routines that do not pause for a season, and evenings that end with a board game rather than a screen. From €215,000 per week, she rewards charterers who want their sailing yacht to actually sail, engineered by a name that changed what a Perini Navi could be.
