About Les Bruxellois

The SD126 answers a specific question: how much yacht will fit into thirty-eight metres before it stops being manageable? On Les Bruxellois the answer is a great deal. Three decks, a full-beam main deck master, an upper salon with its own bar, a spa pool set into the sundeck under a hardtop, and a bathing platform at the stern that opens for the toys. All of it inside 314 gross tonnes on a semi-displacement hull that still makes sixteen knots.

Delivered in 2022 and lightly used since, she carries a Francesco Paszkowski interior throughout. It is a restrained scheme and a confident one: pale oak underfoot and across every vertical surface, cream upholstery, bronze and smoked glass for contrast, and window bands set low enough that the sea stays present from a sofa. Nothing shouts. The quality is in the joinery and in the way light moves through it.

The main deck is the argument for the boat. Aft, a long L-shaped sofa faces full-height glass that slides away onto the shaded aft deck. Forward, past a low console, the formal dining table seats eight beneath a sculptural fitting, marble-topped and set against the same pale oak. The master sits forward of that, full width, the berth between framed prints with a writing desk to one side and a bathroom in book-matched white marble.

One deck up is the room a charter actually lives in. The skylounge carries a bar with stools, a games table against a wall-mounted screen and a long sofa, and it opens aft through glass onto a covered deck with a teak table for six and a spiral stair running up to the sundeck. That stair matters more than it sounds: guests move between sundeck, upper deck and water without ever crossing the main deck.

The sundeck is laid out in three zones. A timber-clad spa pool with a glass side panel sits forward under the hardtop alongside a broad sun pad, a seating group takes the middle, and open sun pads run aft. The foredeck adds a quieter second sun area, a curved bench and low table set into the bow.

Accommodation is five cabins for eleven guests: the main deck master, three doubles and a convertible cabin below, each with its own bathroom in marble and dark stone. The layout suits a family or two couples travelling together equally well, and the convertible cabin is what takes her from ten guests to eleven.

Her toy list runs well past what the size suggests. A Williams 445 diesel jet tender, two Sea-Doo RXP 300 jet skis, two Seabobs, two Lift e-foils, a flyboard, paddleboards, water skis, a wakeboard, inflatables, snorkelling and fishing gear, and gym equipment that comes out onto the deck. Seven crew run her.

Range is 3,000 nautical miles at eleven knots, which puts the western Mediterranean inside a season without fuel planning becoming part of the conversation. She works the French Riviera, and the coastline behind her in these photographs is where she spends her summers. Near-new, properly specified, and small enough to get into the harbours that matter.
