About Eva4Eva

Eva4Eva is the only Mangusta Oceano 44 on the charter market, and she arrived there new. Overmarine delivered her in 2025 as the ninth hull of a series that reads nothing like the Mangusta name suggests: where the yard made its reputation on open sport yachts, the Oceano line is full-displacement, aluminium and built for range rather than for a headline top speed. She cruises at eleven knots and carries 4,500 nautical miles of it.

The layout is where she separates herself. She carries two primary staterooms, not one. The main-deck primary is full beam, lit by a window band that runs the width of the hull, with a starlight ceiling and a vanity set into the sill. The bridge-deck primary is the more unusual of the two: sliding glass across an entire side opens directly onto a private exterior lounge with its own bar and stools, so the cabin and the deck become one room. Four further cabins below take the guest count to twelve. For two families chartering together, or an owner travelling with parents, having two equivalent suites rather than one master and a compromise is the difference between a good week and an awkward one.

Water is the organising idea. A large pool sits forward at the bow, glass-sided and set into the teak with sun pads on three sides and her name across the coaming. A second glass-walled spa pool is let into the sundeck aft, ringed by loungers under an awning. The beach club opens the stern at water level onto a teak terrace with its own bar island, and a hammam sits behind it. There is no point at which the sea is more than a few steps away.

The interior is contemporary in a way that is confident rather than clinical. Pale oak floors, cream leather and curved joinery, with backlit reveals tracing every edge and oval mirrors and portholes cut into the panelling. Glass is used generously: the main salon opens on both sides and aft, and the dining table sits against a book-matched marble bulkhead with the galley pass beyond. The stairwell is treated as a feature rather than a service space, with a sculptural curved balustrade lit from within and a planted glass panel at its foot.

Up top, the sundeck is a working outdoor room rather than a sun trap: gym equipment under the awning with a large screen behind it, a full bar with stools, and dining forward of the spa pool. The gym is genuinely equipped, with a curved treadmill and a ski trainer, not a token bike in a corner.

The toy inventory is properly specified. A Technohull 40 Explorer with twin 400-horsepower Mercurys serves as chase boat, alongside a Williams DJ565 tender, two Sea-Doo Spark jet skis, two Seabob Sea NXT Elites, two electric SipaBoards, a wakeboard, water skis, two Jobe Manta towables and one-, two- and three-person inflatables.

She works the West Mediterranean and the Adriatic through the summer and stays east for the winter. On current form that means Croatia, where she was photographed and where a yacht of her draft and range makes obvious sense: a coastline of islands close together, deep clear water, and anchorages that reward a tender programme this good.
