Oceanco has built at Alblasserdam on the Dutch coast since 1987, and the yard has spent the past two decades moving steadily upward in size until full custom work beyond seventy metres became the house standard. Nothing here is a series hull. Every Oceanco is drawn for a single owner, which is why the charter fleet reads as a set of individuals rather than a range.
Our Oceanco charter fleet runs from The Wellesley at fifty six metres up to Black Pearl at one hundred and six. Black Pearl is the headline, a three masted DynaRig sailing yacht that crossed the Atlantic on almost no fuel and remains the boldest sailing project afloat. Alfa Nero at eighty two metres and Sunrays at eighty five and a half carry the yard’s large displacement work, while Wheels at seventy five and a half is among the most recent hulls afloat. Treehouse, Ludzie, Lucky Lady and Friendship fill the fifty to sixty metre band.
Weekly rates open near two hundred and thirty thousand euros for The Wellesley and reach one million one hundred and fifty thousand for Sunrays, with the middle of the fleet agreed between three hundred and ten and three hundred and eighty thousand. An advance provisioning allowance close to thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
