Delta Marine works from a yard on the Duwamish River in Seattle, where the Jones family started building commercial fishing boats for the Alaskan fleet in 1968. That origin still shows. The yard laminates its own composite hulls in house, at a scale few builders attempt, and the results are quiet, strong and built for weeks away from a marina rather than nights alongside one.
Our Delta Marine charter fleet runs from forty six metres to sixty six. Invictus at sixty six is the largest, a 2013 hull with thirteen metres of beam carrying a cinema, a gym and a jacuzzi. Victoria Del Mar at fifty takes twelve guests in seven cabins and has the fullest water toy locker of the group. Triton at forty nine is the explorer of the fleet, with a gym and a spa, and Usher at forty six completes the group.
Weekly rates open at one hundred and seventy five thousand euros for Triton, then two hundred thousand for Usher and two hundred and forty five thousand for Victoria Del Mar. Invictus sits well above at five hundred and sixty thousand. An advance provisioning allowance near thirty percent is added, covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
These are boats for distance. Invictus, Usher and Victoria Del Mar work the Caribbean and the North American coast through the winter, with the Bahamas an easy addition.
