A pool on a seventy metre charter yacht is not a compromise. At this length, the beam and deck space allow a pool proportionate to the surrounding lounging area, whether set into the sun deck or recessed into the main aft deck with views astern. Six yachts in this band carry a pool, built by Feadship, Amels, Heesen, Admiral, ISA and Icon Yachts.
Each yacht treats the pool differently. Lunasea, the largest at seventy three metres, is a Feadship with generous exterior volume and a crew built for long Mediterranean seasons. Okto pairs her pool with a distinctive angular profile suited to large groups. Ventum Maris, an Amels, combines the pool with a beach club, while Life Saga draws on Admiral’s tradition of generous outdoor space. Illusion from Heesen adds performance, and Loon from Icon Yachts brings a newer build philosophy.
Weekly rates run from four hundred and fifty five thousand euros for Illusion to six hundred and eighty thousand for Lunasea. The median sits around five hundred and seventy thousand. Add roughly thirty percent for the advance provisioning allowance, covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks. July and August carry the highest premiums, with June and September offering better availability.
