About QUID PRO QUO

Quid Pro Quo is a Benetti Tradition 100, a 30 metre motor yacht from one of the most respected names in Italian yacht building, and she offers something that has quietly gone out of fashion. She is a classic. Drawn by Stefano Righini with an interior by Michel Sagbini and delivered in 2007, she carries the balanced proportions, the white hull and the easy flybridge profile of a proper Mediterranean motor yacht, without the hard edges of the current fashion. For a family or a group of ten she is a comfortable, familiar and well sized choice for a relaxed week on the Riviera.

Her strength is the way she uses her space. The main deck salon runs long and open, framed by wide windows that keep the sea in view from every seat, finished in warm timber and pale leather with a lounge, a bar and a dining table sharing the one bright volume. It is a room built for easy days, cool after the sun and open to the aft deck through wide glass doors, and it flexes through the day from breakfast to a film after dark.

Life outdoors is spread across three levels. The flybridge is the natural centre of the day, a long sun deck of loungers and sunpads with a shaded dining table and a bar, high above the water with clear views on every side. Forward on the bow a private curved sofa lounge offers a quiet corner away from the main flow. Aft on the main deck a large shaded table sets up for lunch at anchor, steps from the swim platform and the tender. It is a generous amount of outdoor living for a yacht of her size.

Accommodation runs to five cabins for ten guests. A full beam master sits on the lower deck with a walk in wardrobe and a marble bathroom, matched by a VIP and further double and twin cabins finished in the same warm wood and crisp linen. Each cabin has its own en suite and a hull window at eye level, and the twin adapts easily for younger guests. Six crew run the yacht quietly from their own quarters, an experienced team who know the coast and keep the week easy from the first day, from the morning swim to dinner served on the aft deck.

Quid Pro Quo cruises the western Mediterranean through the season, at home on the French and Italian rivieras where a yacht of her style belongs. Her displacement hull suits her to calm, scenic passages between the harbours of the Cote d’Azur, from Cannes and Antibes to the islands off the coast, at an unhurried pace that keeps the week relaxed rather than rushed. For a group that values a properly built, classic motor yacht and the space to spread out over a Riviera summer, she is a warm and capable choice, a genuine Benetti that has aged with real grace and still does exactly what a good charter yacht should, season after season on the water.
