Antalya, the main city of the Turkish Riviera, combines an international marina with direct access to one of the Mediterranean’s most varied and historically rich coastlines. A 40-metre charter yacht from Antalya positions guests at the gateway to the Lycian coast, with the sunken ruins at Kekova, the ancient city of Myra, and the turquoise coves west of Antalya all within a day’s sailing.
At 40 metres, the yacht carries eight to ten guests across four or five staterooms, a main saloon, and an aft deck suited to the warm eastern Mediterranean. Weekly charter rates for 40-metre yachts in Antalya run from approximately 25,000 to 60,000 euros. The advance provisioning allowance at 30 per cent covers fuel for the coastal passages, provisions from Antalya and ports along the Lycian coast, and all Turkish transit log and marina fees for the circuit.
From Antalya, the circuit heads west along the Lycian coast to Kekova’s sunken ruins, the ancient city of Myra near Demre, the quiet anchorages of Finike and Kumluca, the headland at Gelidonya, and the sheltered bay at Adrasan before reaching Kas and Kalkan.
