Twelve is the legal ceiling, not a design choice. Every yacht on this page is certified for twelve guests overnight, which is what keeps it outside the Passenger Yacht Code, and at seventy metres that ceiling arrives long before the volume runs out. The interesting question is no longer how many people fit, but how those twelve are arranged.
Sixteen yachts hold twelve guests at this length and they distribute them very differently. Nine use six cabins, four use seven, two manage with five, and Invictus spreads twelve guests across nine. Benetti contributes Calex, Triumph and Seanna, Feadship answers with Lunasea, Nectar and Vassa, Nobiskrug adds Lady Vera and Sycara V, and the Alloy Yachts sloop Vertigo is the one rig in the group.
Weekly rates run from three hundred and fifteen thousand euros for Katharine to eight hundred and seventy five thousand for Lady Vera, with the median at five hundred and fifty thousand and half the fleet between four hundred and fifty five and six hundred and fifty thousand. An advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks. Delivery year drives the spread far more than a metre either way.
Crew numbers run from sixteen to twenty two, so twelve guests are looked after by more people than they brought. Nothing is shared and nothing is scheduled.
