Amels builds to a limited series rather than to a blank sheet, and the sixty metre band is where that model has produced the most charter yachts. Nine hulls sit here, seven of them fifty five metre Limited Editions from Vlissingen and two full sixty metre boats. The common thread is a full beam owner’s deck forward and a beach club that opens at water level.
Amigos, Galene, Revelry, Kamalaya, 4You, Samira and Nomad make up the fifty five metre group, delivered between 2003 and 2020. Come Together, from 2022, and QU2, delivered in 2026, are the two sixty metre hulls. Seven of the nine carry a beach club, four have a cinema, and Amigos, Galene and QU2 are set up for helicopter operations. Most take twelve guests in five or six cabins.
Weekly rates start at two hundred and eighty thousand euros for Revelry and 4You and run to six hundred and twenty thousand for QU2. The median sits at three hundred and ten thousand, and seven of the nine charter between two hundred and eighty and three hundred and fifty thousand. Add an advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent for fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
The fleet splits its year in the familiar way. Most cross to the Caribbean in December and return to the western Mediterranean by May, working Sardinia, Corsica and the Balearics. Nomad stays west, cruising the Bahamas and the Leewards, and Samira works Greece and the eastern basin. QU2 is committed to the South of France and Sardinia for her first seasons.
