At 125,000 euros per week, Brač and the central Dalmatian islands become the domain of charter yachts of 40 to 50 metres, crewed by six to eight and carrying the watersports and service levels suited to a week of Adriatic island exploration. The passage south from Split to Brač takes under an hour, and from there the island chain extends through Hvar, Vis, Korcula and the open water toward Lastovo in either direction. Brač’s Zlatni Rat on the southern cape is among the Adriatic’s most distinctive beaches, a narrow pebble spit that changes orientation with the wind. Milna harbour on the western coast provides reliable shelter and marina facilities. Hvar’s old town and lavender fields, Vis’s vineyards and Komiža harbour, and Korcula’s walled medieval centre build an itinerary of considerable cultural variety. The advance provisioning allowance adds approximately 37,500 euros to the weekly rate, covering fuel, food, marina fees and drinks. Peak season from June through August commands full rates; June and September offer the same itinerary with fewer boats and occasional rate flexibility. Guests of eight to 10 find central Dalmatia among the Mediterranean’s most complete sailing destinations.
