Dubrovnik is one of the Adriatic’s most celebrated destinations, its UNESCO-listed walled old town set on a limestone promontory above clear blue water providing a backdrop that no hotel in the city can match. At 125,000 Euros per week, the yachts available in Croatia measure 42 to 52 metres, carry professional crews of eight to ten and provide well-appointed accommodation for up to ten or twelve guests.
The Elaphiti Islands of Lopud, Sipan and Kolocep lie within an hour’s motor of Dubrovnik and provide quiet anchorages entirely free of the crowds ashore. Cavtat, a beautifully preserved small town fifteen nautical miles south in a sheltered bay, is a favourite evening stop.
Charter fees cover the yacht and full crew. The Advance Provisioning Allowance runs to approximately ~37,000 euros, covering fuel, provisions, marina berthing and running costs. 4 yachts are available in Croatia at this weekly rate. July and August carry peak demand; June and September offer near-identical conditions with greater date flexibility.
From Dubrovnik, Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor lies four hours south, offering dramatic fjord-like scenery and the walled city of Kotor. North, Korcula, Mljet National Park and Lastovo open the full range of the southern Dalmatian islands.
