Eze perches on a rocky headland between Nice and Monaco on the Moyenne Corniche, one of the most dramatic positions on the French Riviera. For charter guests, the village itself is best approached from the sea via Eze-sur-Mer, the small beach settlement below the cliff face, where a 40 metre yacht can anchor in clear water within sight of the medieval towers above. The cruising territory from this stretch of coast is outstanding: Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Monaco and Cap Ferrat are all within a short run.

At this length guests get five or six guest cabins, a crew of seven to nine and the full complement of water sports equipment for shallow Mediterranean bays. Motor designs predominate, with deck layouts optimised for outdoor living.
Weekly rates for a 40 metre charter yacht based in the Eze and Nice area run from approximately 80,000 to 140,000 euros in high season. The advance provisioning allowance covering fuel, provisions, port fees and water sports adds 30 to 35 per cent. June and September offer the best combination of conditions and value, with July and August peaking at higher rates.
