A pool on a family charter yacht changes the dynamic of the day. Younger children gain a contained, supervised area of water away from the open sea, while older guests use the pool as the social centre of the yacht, gathering around it for lunch, conversation and the long Mediterranean afternoon. On a purpose-built superyacht, the pool is typically on the main or upper aft deck, with sun loungers, shade and direct access to the interior.
Thirty two yachts in our charter fleet combine the Family tag with a pool, from the twenty nine metre Vivaldi to the seventy nine metre Mimtee. QU2, a sixty metre Amels, carries a large aft-deck pool surrounded by sunbathing terraces that suit multi-generational groups. King Benji, a forty seven metre Dunya, pairs a substantial pool with a broad swim platform for younger guests. At the compact end, Vivace, a thirty one metre Alpha, and Rehab, a thirty three metre Benetti, prove that a pool charter does not demand a sixty metre hull.
Weekly rates begin at eighty thousand euros for Vivaldi and reach nine hundred thousand for Mimtee. The core of the fleet sits between one hundred and fifty thousand and three hundred and fifty thousand euros. The advance provisioning allowance adds roughly thirty percent, covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks.
The western Mediterranean dominates the summer season, with the Amalfi coast, Sardinia and the Greek islands offering warm, sheltered waters. From November the fleet moves to the Caribbean and the Bahamas, where families cruise in calmer seas and steadier sunshine.
