GECO is a multi-award-winning 55.2-metre motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Admiral, part of The Italian Sea Group, and delivered in 2020 as the very first yacht on their S-Force 55 platform. Designed inside and out by Gian Marco Campanino of GMC Architecture, she is a genuine head-turner, her audacious profile of sleek, sinuous contours drawing direct inspiration from the world of high-performance sports supercars, and her distinctive metallic light-blue hull, a specially matched automotive pearl paint personally chosen by her owner, capturing the very essence of the sea. Her design pedigree has been widely recognised, with wins at the International Yacht and Aviation Awards and the Robb Report Best of the Best, among other accolades. Built on an aluminium hull and superstructure over three decks, she is light, fast and agile, reaching a top speed of 18 knots and cruising at a swift 16.5 knots, with a shallow draft and zero-speed stabilisers that let her access shallow, sheltered anchorages in complete comfort. A signature feature is her innovative open-stern beach club, which evolved from a simple swim step into a deep platform offering direct, unobstructed access to the sea, reached via a pair of cascading teak steps from the aft main deck and complete with hidden ocean steps and space for a dining table for six right at the water’s edge. Life aboard GECO is wonderfully social. Her expansive decks include a large pool, an open-air sundeck with a full gym, a special Buddha Bar lounge, main and upper deck outdoor bars, a skylounge bar and an outdoor cinema for movies under the stars, while a foredeck alfresco lounge with a fire pit converts into a touch-and-go helipad for seamless arrivals. As an approved RYA watersports centre she carries a seemingly never-ending array of toys, from jet skis, a Flyboard, an inflatable waterslide and climbing wall to transparent kayaks and full dive gear, all supported by her spectacular Evo 43 chase boat, Khaleesi. Inside, her contemporary interior pairs a warm, neutral palette with luxurious materials, including bleached open-grain white oak, high-gloss macassar ebony, marble, leathers, 3D-printed leather panels and head-turning modern art, all connected by a striking glass-walled main staircase and foyer. Accommodation is arranged for up to 12 guests in six en-suite cabins. The full-beam master suite occupies a forward position on the main deck, with a king-size bed, an office, his-and-hers bathroom facilities, walk-in wardrobes and a vanity, while a full-beam VIP and a flexible mix of double and twin cabins, some with Pullman berths, are located on the lower deck, all sharing the same inviting contemporary design and cutting-edge technology. A professional crew of 13, led by an experienced captain and an award-winning chef, ensures exceptional, friendly service throughout. Based in the Mediterranean year-round, GECO cruises the French Riviera, the Greek islands and the Adriatic coasts of Croatia and Montenegro, offering charter guests a thrilling combination of supercar style, spectacular social spaces and a standout beach club aboard one of the most distinctive yachts of her generation. Available for charter through Cecil Wright and Partners, GECO is offered at rates from EUR 335,000 per week plus expenses.
