Gocek Bay is one of the finest natural harbours on the Turkish Riviera, a deep forested inlet sheltering six purpose-built marinas and a scattering of island anchorages that give 40-metre charter yachts immediate access to some of the region’s most sought-after overnight stops. The town of Gocek provides full provisioning, with well-stocked marina supermarkets and fresh produce markets serving the charter fleet throughout the season.
At 40 metres, the yacht carries eight to ten guests across four or five staterooms and manoeuvres with ease among Gocek’s island anchorages, from the crumbling monastery on Tersane Island to the calm water of Cleopatra’s Bay and the striking rock formations of Bedri Rahmi Bay. A crew of seven to nine handles all navigation, catering, and watersports across the circuit.
Weekly charter rates for 40-metre yachts in Gocek Bay run from approximately 25,000 to 60,000 euros. The advance provisioning allowance at 30 per cent covers fuel for the Gocek and Fethiye circuit, provisions from the well-stocked Gocek marina, and all Turkish transit log and marina fees for the week.
From Gocek, the circuit explores Tersane Island, Cleopatra’s Bay, Bedri Rahmi Bay’s rock paintings, Sarsala Bay, and with longer passages, Fethiye’s 12-island circuit and Ekincik’s Dalyan delta approach to the east.
