Korcula is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Adriatic, its walled old town set on a small peninsula surrounded on three sides by the sea, combining Venetian-era architecture with the calm of an island that has avoided mass tourism. At 250,000 Euros per week, the yachts available in Croatia measure 55 metres and above, carry professional crews of twelve or more and provide well-appointed accommodation for parties of eight to twelve guests.
Korcula’s coastline offers a range of anchorages suited to different conditions. The bay at Lumbarda on the eastern tip is sheltered and sandy. Vela Luka on the western end provides a deep harbour ideal for larger yachts. The island’s interior produces Grk white wine, one of Croatia’s most distinctive indigenous varieties.
Charter fees cover the yacht and full crew. The Advance Provisioning Allowance runs to approximately ~75,000 euros, covering fuel, provisions, marina berthing and running costs. 3 yachts are available in Croatia at this weekly rate. July and August carry peak demand; June and September offer near-identical conditions with greater date flexibility.
From Korcula, Hvar Town lies two hours north across the channel. Mljet National Park and its unique saltwater lakes lie one hour east. Dubrovnik and the Elaphiti Islands are within a comfortable day passage southeast.
