KATINA is a 60-metre motor yacht built by the Croatian shipyard Brodosplit, delivered in 2015 and substantially refitted in 2021. As the largest motor yacht ever built in Croatia, she carries a genuinely distinctive layout among 60-metre charter yachts: rather than a single dominant master suite, KATINA offers six equally generous VIP cabins, all positioned together on the upper deck, giving every guest in the party the same level of comfort and privacy.
Each of those six staterooms features a king-sized bed convertible to twins, its own en-suite bathroom, and a large smart TV, with four of the suites adding fold-down sea balconies where guests can take a quiet morning coffee or simply watch the water go by. Interior styling by Ali Getz favours bright, contemporary spaces with large windows that flood the yacht with natural light, keeping the atmosphere calm and closely connected to the sea outside throughout.
Deck space is where KATINA truly distinguishes herself, with enough room to comfortably host parties of up to 150 guests, making her as suited to large-scale celebrations and corporate events as she is to an intimate family charter. The sun deck centres on a raised Jacuzzi flanked by sun pads, alongside a full alfresco bar and dining area, while the upper and main deck aft spaces offer both shaded and open settings for informal dining and drinks throughout the day.
Inside, the main saloon brings together generous lounge and dining seating around a full bar and piano, setting a relaxed, sociable tone for evenings on board. Wellness facilities are genuinely well considered: a fully equipped gym sits alongside a sauna and massage room for recovery after an active day, and a dedicated whiskey and cigar lounge, complete with its own ventilation system, gives guests a refined space for quieter gatherings away from the main social areas.
KATINA’s water toy collection is extensive even by superyacht standards, including SeaDoo waverunners, SeaBobs, e-foils, underwater propulsion scooters, a Flyboard, mountain bikes, windsurfers, kayaks and a full range of towable inflatables, alongside a huge inflatable slide and playground launched straight from the sun deck. A 6.25-metre Seascan Marine tender, capable of carrying all 12 guests plus two crew, makes shore excursions straightforward wherever the itinerary leads.
Twin Cummins engines give KATINA a cruising speed of around 12 knots and a maximum of around 14.5 to 15 knots, with a 4,000 nautical mile range and two pairs of zero-speed stabilisers ensuring genuine comfort at anchor as well as underway. An onboard elevator serves all decks, making the yacht effortlessly accessible for guests of any age or mobility.
With a crew of 15 on board, KATINA is particularly popular for charters in Croatia, cruising the Adriatic coast between Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, while also venturing into the wider East and West Mediterranean and as far afield as the Indian Ocean and Maldives over the winter season. For groups wanting equal accommodation for everyone in the party rather than a strict hierarchy of cabins, KATINA remains one of the most distinctive choices on the charter market.
Rather than one dominant master cabin, KATINA offers six identically generous VIP suites on the upper deck, giving every guest the same level of comfort.
