Perini Navi is the Italian yard that redefined large sailing yachts, building hulls designed for ocean passages and extended Mediterranean seasons without compromising interior volume. Five Perini Navi sailing yachts charter in the sixty metre band, every one a ketch rigged vessel carrying twelve guests aboard layouts that rival motor yachts of the same length.
The fleet spans nearly two decades of the yard’s output. Spirit of the C’s launched in 2003 and remains one of the most recognised Perini Navis afloat, with six cabins and interiors by Nuvolari Lenard. Rosehearty followed in 2006 with six cabins and a master suite that takes the full beam of the hull. Asahi, delivered in 2010, carries five cabins and channels the extra space into wider social areas. Zenji arrived in 2015 with six cabins and a spa, sauna and gym. Burrasca is the newest, a 2022 delivery with five cabins for ten guests and the latest in the yard’s sail handling systems.
Weekly rates run from two hundred and fifteen thousand euros for Burrasca to two hundred and forty five thousand for Spirit of the C’s. Asahi charters at two hundred and twenty thousand, Rosehearty at two hundred and twenty five thousand and Zenji at two hundred and forty thousand. Add roughly thirty percent for the advance provisioning allowance covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks. Fuel costs on a sailing yacht of this size sit well below the equivalent on a motor yacht.
