The Tobago Cays Marine Park, reachable at 175,000 euros per week aboard a charter yacht of 50 to 60 metres, represents one of the most compelling combinations of natural environment and comfortable on-board experience available in the Caribbean. Hawksbill turtles inhabit the sea-grass meadows inside Horseshoe Reef year-round; the water is clear enough to see the reef structure from the anchorage. At this weekly rate, the crew of nine or ten manages every operational detail, from the early morning passage through the reef channel to the evening barbecue on the aft deck. The Grenadines surrounding the marine park extend the itinerary with equal reward: Mayreau for a sandbar anchorage, Union Island for provisions, Palm Island for a lunch stop and Petit St Vincent for a final quieter night. The advance provisioning allowance adds around 52,500 euros to the weekly cost, covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks. December through April delivers the settled easterly trades and low rainfall that define peak Caribbean season. May through November is less trafficked and allows extended stays in the Tobago Cays without competition for the preferred anchorages. Guests of 10 to 12 travel in well-separated cabins and move freely between the yacht and the water throughout each day.
