ORIENT STAR is a 47-metre tri-deck motor yacht built by CMB Yachts in Turkey and delivered in 2012. Designed externally by the acclaimed British designer Ken Freivokh and internally by the award-winning Tara Bernerd, she offers a contemporary monochromatic interior using rich materials, art pieces and premium accessories that create a genuinely sophisticated atmosphere without being heavy or dated.
The main salon has a comfortable seating area and bar, with a modern dining room seating ten. The bridge deck salon, bright and airy with a large sofa and entertainment system, opens to panoramic balconies on both sides. A library and office area make her particularly well-suited to guests who want to work and relax simultaneously. The sundeck is the social hub: an elevated Jacuzzi surrounded by sunpads, an outdoor bar, seating and a DJ sound system. Fitness is catered for with yoga mats, TRX equipment and a qualified instructor available on request.
NOTE: ORIENT STAR is Certified Kosher-friendly. Accommodation sleeps 10 across five en-suite staterooms: a main-deck master with floor-to-ceiling windows, study and walk-in wardrobe, plus two double cabins and two twin cabins on the lower deck. A crew of nine, twin MTU engines delivering 17 knots maximum and Starlink Maritime connectivity.
The main deck aft of Orient Star is the social heart of the exterior: a covered area with comfortable built-in seating, a dining table and a natural flow to the swim platform below. Whether for casual lunches or formal dinners under the stars, this space is purposefully designed for the pleasures of outdoor life at sea.
The main salon of Orient Star is a considered and generous open-plan living and dining area that uses the finest materials, furniture and lighting to create a space that feels as refined and comfortable as a top private residence. Large windows ensure natural light throughout the day, and the natural flow from salon to aft deck makes indoor-outdoor living completely effortless.
The master suite of Orient Star occupies the finest position on the yacht for privacy and natural light. A king-sized bed, sitting area, his-and-hers dressing facilities and a premium stone en-suite bathroom with shower and bath create a private retreat of the highest calibre, one that compares favourably with the finest suites in any shore-based five-star hotel.
The sun deck of Orient Star is the highest and most panoramic outdoor space on board: a Jacuzzi, sun pads, comfortable loungers and a well-stocked bar create a space where guests naturally gather. Unobstructed views in every direction make it equally popular at sunrise and sunset.
The sky lounge of Orient Star is a versatile social space with plush sofas, a bar, and a premium entertainment system. It moves naturally between relaxed daytime lounge and the centre of evening social life as the hours progress, and its elevated panoramic windows make it popular at all hours.
The 5 staterooms of Orient Star accommodate 10 guests overnight in surroundings that match the quality of the master suite in materials and care. Cabins are configured flexibly for different group compositions, several converting between double and twin, and each has an en-suite bathroom, generous storage, individual climate control and a complete entertainment system.
