PARSIFAL III is a 53.8-metre custom-built sailing ketch by Perini Navi, launched in 2005 as the result of a six-year quest by two experienced sailing owners. Their brief to Perini Navi and naval architect Ron Holland was simple: build the finest luxury sailing yacht possible that could also race competitively. The result won five prestigious awards in the year of her launch alone, including Superyacht of the Year (Sailing Yacht) and Best Interior Design (Sailing Yacht) at the World Superyacht Awards 2006, as well as the ShowBoats Award for Best Interior Design.
Her jet-black hull and brilliant white superstructure create one of the most instantly recognisable profiles on the water. PARSIFAL III is thought to be one of the fastest Perini Navi sailing yachts ever built, with high-tech carbon masts, fully automated in-boom furling and a winged keel that allow her to reach speeds in the region of 18 knots under full sail. She is, as Boat International noted at launch, u2018a classically proportioned ketch whose powerful hull displays a seamanlike bow and a long, elegantly curved sheer lineu2019, performance and beauty combined.
Her profile is now perhaps even more widely known from her starring role in the Bravo TV series Below Deck Sailing Yacht, which brought PARSIFAL III to a global audience and reinforced her reputation as a genuinely outstanding charter yacht.
Inside, Remi Tessier’s award-winning interior uses dark ebony woodwork contrasted with lighter sycamore, combined with stainless steel accents and fine leathers to create a modern, sophisticated atmosphere that still feels warm and inviting. The main salon features a circular sofa and leads to an open-plan dining area with a sit-up bar overlooking the sea. On the upper deck, multiple seating areas, a bar and a Jacuzzi at the stern give guests flexible options throughout the day.
Accommodation sleeps 12 guests across five staterooms: a master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins, each with Pullman berths for additional flexibility. Foredeck and stern areas provide ample sunbathing and relaxation space, while the large hydraulic swim platform gives easy access to a water toy collection including SeaBobs, wakeboards, waterskis, kayaks, SUPs and windsurfers. Managed through Edmiston with a crew of nine, PARSIFAL III divides her year between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
