Baltic 146 Path For Sale

Path was the third largest yacht by volume Baltic Yachts had been asked to build, and she was drawn for one purpose: crossing oceans quickly, quietly and in comfort. judel/vrolijk and co gave her a 44.6 metre hull with a lifting keel and twin rudders, a combination that lets her carry sail hard offshore and then draw 3.4 metres when the anchorage is shallow. Advanced composite construction keeps the weight where it belongs, low and central.

The deck reads as a working platform for long passages. A solid bimini shelters the main cockpit, a second protects the twin steering positions, and captive winches take the loads so a modest watch can trim without drama. Forward, the tender well fills to form a 6.5 metre pool once the tender is away. A fold-over anchor system and a large stern lazarette keep the ends clean.

Below, the owner suite sits amidships and uses the full beam, with an upper lounge and a video wall running most of its length. Three further double cabins take the guest count to eight. Seven crew live in four cabins aft, so she can be run properly on extended itineraries rather than daysailed.

A 550hp six-cylinder Scania drives a forward-facing pull propeller on a leg that rotates through 340 degrees and doubles as a stern thruster. Sixty square metres of solar panels feed the lithium-ion bank, work that took the Energy Globe Awards Finland in 2022. Delivered 2021.
