Nautor Swan Yachts for Sale

Nautor Swan has been building sailing yachts at Pietarsaari on the Finnish west coast since 1966, when Pekka Koskenkyla set out to prove that a glassfibre hull could match the performance and sea manners of a well-built wooden boat. The first Swan 36 answered the question, and more than 2,350 yachts between 28 and 131 feet have followed over six decades.

The yard keeps design, engineering and construction on one site, so naval architects, engineers and boatbuilders work within reach of each other and of the moulds. That arrangement has carried the marque through a succession of design partnerships: Sparkman and Stephens drew roughly the first thousand hulls, Ron Holland followed at the end of the 1970s, and German Frers has shaped the modern fleet and its one-design racing classes.

Today the range splits into the Swan and Swan Maxi cruising lines, the ClubSwan racing yachts, Swan Alloy, SwanScape and the Swan Shadow motor division. Alongside the shipyard sit ClubSwan Racing, a brokerage and charter arm, and a global service network of four Mediterranean hubs and eighteen service points. For a buyer, that continuity of records and factory support is a large part of what a Swan is worth on the second-hand market.
