ARESYA is a Sanlorenzo SL120A, brand new for 2025 and one of the most talked about hulls in the yard’s current range. The SL120A takes the asymmetric idea Sanlorenzo pioneered, moving the side deck to one side of the yacht, and uses the space it frees to open the main deck fully to the sea. The result is a 37 metre motor yacht that feels far larger inside than her length suggests, with a light, contemporary interior in oak and soft neutrals and a main deck that reads as one continuous space between salon, dining and the water beyond the glass.
She is quick. A semi displacement hull that holds a 23 knot cruise changes how a charter week works, bringing distant anchorages within an easy run and letting a group chase the weather, the quiet cove or the lively town rather than being tied to whatever is closest. As a 2025 delivery she is as current as a charter yacht gets, from the systems and the finish to the crew of a fresh build, and everything aboard is set up for the way people actually use a yacht today.
Twelve guests sleep in five cabins. The master is a wide, calm double in light oak, a large bed below hull windows that bring the sea close, a seating corner and a private bathroom in soft stone. A VIP double and further cabins run below, each with an ensuite, finished in the same oak and soft neutrals so the accommodation feels of a piece, with a twin among them that makes up easily for children or a third couple. A crew of eight runs her, a strong number for 37 metres, and the service spaces stay clear of the guest areas.
The main deck is the heart of the design. The salon runs in light oak and soft neutrals, low sofas and swivel chairs with glass wrapping the room, and the full height windows and sliding doors mean the sea sits just past the seating from every angle. A dining table sits within the same open space under a soft lit ceiling with the coast in view through dinner, and a second lounge forward gives the salon a quieter corner. It is a bright, modern interior that makes the most of the light and the volume the asymmetric layout unlocks.
Outside, ARESYA spreads her guests across the decks. The flybridge opens out with loungers, seating and shade, high above the sea with a long view over the coast, and the aft decks carry shaded dining and lounge seating close to the swim platform and the water. The foredeck adds a quieter spot forward, and a tender and a spread of watersports gear come with the yacht, launched off the stern for a day spent in the sea. Her speed means she is just as happy running out to a distant bay for lunch as lying at anchor for the afternoon.
Her home water is the French and Italian Riviera, and she is well matched to it. Monaco, Cap Ferrat and the bays around Antibes and Saint Tropez sit within easy reach, the Ligurian coast and the islands lie a short run to the east, and her pace makes the crossings between them straightforward. With her open main deck, her light contemporary interior and her turn of speed, ARESYA suits a family or a group of friends who want a brand new yacht to take that stretch of coast at their own pace.
