About AVALON

Delta Marine built AVALON in 2009 and returned her to the yard for a refit completed in 2024, and what stands out most is how little persuading she needs. This is a 46-metre motor yacht built with the volume and structural honesty Delta Marine is known for, kept in the kind of condition that comes from a crew who have worked together for years rather than a yacht passed between owners. Her captain has run her for more than eight years; her chef, a former restaurant owner with a Caribbean-leaning menu, has been aboard for over fifteen. That continuity shows up in how the boat runs, not just in how she looks.

AVALON’s case for chartering is built on range of use rather than a single showpiece. Families get generous volume and five ensuite cabins, three of them comparably sized doubles or VIPs and a fourth large enough for adult guests rather than an afterthought. Anglers get a genuine offshore program: the standard 43-foot Jupiter, fitted with quad outboards, handles reef and inshore work, while an optional 60-foot F&S custom sportfish, RAMBLE ON, upgrades the week to tournament-grade big-game fishing without anyone having to leave the yacht’s own charter program to book it separately. Rod holders and tackle stations built into her own decks make clear this isn’t a boat that treats fishing as an afterthought either.

Inside, dark wood joinery and a settled, traditional palette run consistently from the main salon through the formal dining room and into the cabins, giving AVALON an interior that reads as lived-in rather than staged. The salon opens onto deep seating arranged for conversation rather than display; forward of it, a dining table set beneath period-style chandeliers seats the full guest complement for a meal that does not have to end on deck. An enclosed pilothouse one deck up gives the crew a proper working bridge and doubles as a quiet lounge with a view over the marina or the anchorage, and a sky lounge with a fitted television carries the same warm-wood language into a more relaxed evening room.

The master suite runs a full stateroom with its own separate seating and vanity area, an ensuite finished in stone with both a soaking tub and a separate shower. The remaining four cabins split between doubles and a twin, each with its own ensuite, each keeping the same dark timber and warm upholstery so the yacht never feels like it is showing two different decades of design at once.

On deck, AVALON has been reworked around actual use. A fitted gym sits in the open air rather than a windowless cabin below, aft-deck dining seats the full group under cover, and the reimagined beach club at the stern is built to handle the daily traffic of tenders, toys and swimmers rather than just look good in a photograph. Her toy count matches the ambition: an eFoil, an electric surfboard, two Laser Pico sailboats, two WaveRunners and the Jupiter chase boat, on top of whatever RAMBLE ON adds when the fishing package is booked.

AVALON splits her charter calendar between the Bahamas and the eastern United States through the summer, with New England on one side of that season and the Caribbean, including the British and US Virgin Islands, the Leeward Islands and the Windward Islands, opening up for the winter months. For a group that wants comfort, a working fishing program and a crew who already function as a team, she is built to deliver all three without asking a guest to compromise on any of them.
