Eight cabins on an eighty metre yacht is more accommodation than charter rules allow you to fill. The guest list is capped at twelve while cruising, so the eighth cabin becomes something else: a study, a second full beam VIP kept for grandparents, a room for a nanny or a security detail. Families who travel with staff choose this bracket for exactly that reason.
Eight yachts sit here, from seventy two to eighty five metres. Lürssen and Oceanco supply the largest hulls at eighty five metres, with CRN, Sanlorenzo, Admiral, Golden Yachts and Freire Shipyard filling the rest. Build years run from 2010 to 2026. Every one carries a gym, seven have a swimming pool, six a cinema, five a beach club and four a certified helipad.
Weekly rates run from five hundred and ninety five thousand euros to one million one hundred and fifty thousand, with the median close to nine hundred thousand. Recent deliveries sit at the top of that band and the 2010 to 2013 hulls at the bottom. An advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks. July and August carry a premium.
At eighty metres the yacht anchors and the tenders work. Summer runs Sardinia, the Amalfi coast, the Aeolian islands and the Ionian, with a helipad on several hulls making a mid week crew change simple.
