A helipad and a waterslide on the same charter yacht signal two very different kinds of arrival. The helipad compresses the transfer from airport to anchorage into minutes, landing guests directly on the top deck without the detour of a harbour. The waterslide, usually launching from the sun deck or bridge deck, sends them from the highest point on board straight into the sea.
Nine charter yachts combine both, starting at forty two metres with Lady Trudy and reaching ninety six metres with Sophia. Galene and Geco, each around fifty five metres, place the helipad forward and the slide aft, keeping the two activities separate. Vicky and Stella Maris occupy the sixty to seventy two metre range and carry full water sports inventories alongside the slide. At the top of the fleet, Arbema, Sunrays, Sophia and Lady S combine the helipad with waterslides built into the superstructure.
Weekly rates start at one hundred and eighty thousand euros for Lady Trudy and reach one million eight hundred thousand for Sophia. The core of the fleet falls between two hundred and fifty thousand and seven hundred thousand euros per week, with the median close to six hundred thousand. The advance provisioning allowance adds roughly thirty percent, covering fuel, food, berthing, drinks and helicopter operations where applicable.
Most of the fleet cruises the western Mediterranean in summer, with the South of France, Sardinia and Greece well represented. From November, several move to the Caribbean, where steady warmth extends the season for both the slide and open-deck helicopter transfers.
