About NOVA

A 1998 hull does not usually feel this current. NOVA changed that with a comprehensive 2024 to 2025 refit that reworked her interior from top to bottom, and the result is a fast Baglietto that reads as a modern yacht while keeping the sea manners of a proven design. For a charter in Greece, where she is based year round, she is a genuinely fresh option at 35 metres.

Speed is part of her character. Twin MTU engines drive her aluminium hull to a 25 knot maximum and a brisk 20 knot cruise, quick enough to turn a chain of scattered islands into an easy day rather than a compromise. Stabilisers keep her settled at anchor and underway, so the pace never costs comfort.

The refit is most obvious inside. Aldo Cichero’s layout now wears light oak, pale upholstery and clean contemporary lines, a bright and current look that suits long Aegean days. The main saloon groups soft seating around low tables with swivel chairs by the windows, and a separate formal dining area seats the whole party for dinner. Everything feels recently made, because it is.

Accommodation runs to five cabins for twelve guests. The master is a calm, full beam room finished in the same warm oak, and the guest cabins mix doubles and twins so the yacht adapts to families and groups of friends with equal ease. Green and teal accents run through the soft furnishings, a considered touch that keeps the interior from feeling plain. Each cabin has its own bathroom.

Outside, NOVA is built for the water. A flybridge carries a shaded lounge and sunbathing high above the sea, the foredeck sets out a second sunbathing and seating area away from the crew, and the aft deck opens to an al fresco dining table that flows straight from the saloon. Meals, sun and shade are all a few steps apart.

Her real draw for an active charter is the toy locker. An extensive collection covers jet skis, inflatables, wakeboards, a kayak, paddleboards and fishing gear, and a GRAND G500 tender with a 100 horsepower Yamaha handles trips ashore and towing duties. A swim platform opens the transom to the sea, turning any bay into a base for the day.

NOVA is classed by RINA and flies the Greek flag, and basing year round in Greece means her crew of seven know the cruising ground intimately, from the busy hubs to the quiet coves that reward a fast yacht willing to move. That local knowledge is part of what she offers.

For a group that wants pace, a genuinely modern interior and a full complement of water toys without stepping up to a much larger yacht, NOVA is a strong and current choice. She is quick between anchorages, calm once the day slows down, and freshly finished throughout after a refit that gave a well regarded hull a second life.

She is proof that the right refit can make an established yacht feel brand new, ready for a busy season of island hopping across the Greek waters she calls home.
