The median is forty four metres and twenty three of the twenty four are motor yachts. Fifteen carry five cabins and seven carry six, and half the band takes twelve guests rather than ten. Feadship leads with four yachts and Heesen has three, with Benetti, Trinity Yachts, Sunseeker and Holland Jachtbouw behind them. The band also holds Malahne, the fifty metre Camper and Nicholson launched in the nineteen thirties and restored to an exceptional standard, a different proposition entirely from a modern tri-deck at the same money.
The median quote is one hundred and fifty five thousand euros, so the band is tight. Add an advance provisioning allowance near thirty percent covering fuel, food, berthing and drinks. Because the rates barely move across the fleet, the decision comes down to layout, crew and how recently the yacht was refitted.
