Five cabins at fifty metres inverts the usual charter maths. Instead of filling the guest list, the layout spends the volume on the people already aboard. Twenty five of these yachts take ten guests and eleven take nine, so a hull of roughly one hundred and sixty four feet carries a group that a forty metre yacht would also carry, with far more room around them.
Forty nine yachts run this configuration and the mix is unusually varied. Trinity Yachts, Feadship and Perini Navi lead with four hulls each, ahead of Alloy Yachts, Sanlorenzo, Overmarine and Rossinavi. The fleet runs from the Indonesian teak of Amandira and Silolona through the restored Malahne to Seven Sins and Big Fish. Twenty carry a gym and fifteen a beach club.
Weekly rates run from ninety four thousand euros to three hundred and twenty five thousand, with the median near two hundred and eight thousand and most of the fleet between one hundred and seventy five and two hundred and forty five thousand. An advance provisioning allowance of around thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks. Build era moves the number more than a metre of length does.
