Fifteen charter yachts in the sixty metre band carry a sauna, and at this length the spa area is large enough that the sauna sits alongside a steam room, a cold plunge and often a massage room rather than competing for space. Most are fitted with traditional Finnish benches in cedar or hemlock, glass panels facing the sea, and digital controls that hold the temperature between eighty and one hundred degrees.
The fleet ranges from the ninety nine thousand euro a week Premier, a Phinisi sailing yacht with a teak lined sauna on the lower deck, through to QU2, the newest Amels sixty metre hull, which charters at six hundred and twenty thousand. Blue II and Talisman Maiton are Turquoise builds from the mid two thousands. Moskito is a Heesen with a sauna wrapped into a full beach club. Come Together, the Amels from 2022, carries her sauna next to the gym on the lower deck.
Weekly rates open at ninety nine thousand euros for Premier and run to six hundred and twenty thousand for QU2. The median sits at three hundred and thirty six thousand, with nine of the fifteen falling between two hundred and fifteen and four hundred and thirty thousand. An advance provisioning allowance of roughly thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks. High season pricing applies July through August and over Christmas.
