Nine hundred thousand euros a week sits at the upper reaches of the regular charter market. Seven yachts carry this rate, all eighty metres or above, all motor, all taking twelve guests. Prices run from nine hundred thousand to nine hundred and eighty thousand euros for a summer week, with the median at nine hundred thousand.
No shipyard dominates. CRN provides two hulls, and Golden Yachts, Sanlorenzo, Feadship, Admiral and Derecktor each contribute one. These are bespoke projects built to an owner’s specification rather than series yachts, and the differences between them matter more than the similarities. Cabin configurations run from six suites to ten, reflecting whether the original brief valued fewer, larger staterooms or maximum flexibility. Every yacht in the band carries a cinema, a gym, a pool and a beach club.
The rate covers the yacht and a crew that typically numbers twenty or above. An advance provisioning allowance of around thirty percent covers fuel, food, berthing and drinks, and at eighty metres the fuel component alone is significant. Expect the final settlement to reflect distance covered as much as the length of the charter.
These yachts work the Western Mediterranean in summer, with Porto Cervo, Capri, the Côte d’Azur and the Cyclades taking most itineraries. From December the fleet shifts to the Caribbean, principally Saint Barths and Antigua. Contact us with your dates and we will confirm what is available.
