An e-foil brings a different energy to a sailing charter. The battery-powered hydrofoil board lifts riders above the surface for a silent, propeller-free flight across calm water, and it needs no wind, no waves and no tow rope. On a sailing yacht, where the emphasis already falls on quiet movement and unbroken sea views, the e-foil extends that sense of freedom from the deck to the water itself.
Ten sailing yachts in our charter fleet carry an e-foil, from the thirty two metre Crossbow to the sixty five metre LAMIMA. Perini Navi builds the largest group with four hulls: Perseus, ALMYRA II, Asahi and Artexplorer. The fleet also includes Twizzle, the fifty seven metre Royal Huisman, and LAMIMA, a traditional phinisi built in Sulawesi. Layouts range from modern performance cruisers with open transoms to classic ketch-rigged yachts with deep teak decks.
Weekly rates begin at fifty nine thousand euros for Crossbow and reach two hundred and forty thousand for Artexplorer. The median falls near one hundred and forty thousand euros. Add roughly thirty percent for the advance provisioning allowance, which covers fuel, food, port fees and drinks. Most charters run Saturday to Saturday, and rates vary by season, with August commanding a premium across the Mediterranean.
The Cyclades, the Dalmatian coast and the Balearics suit e-foiling particularly well, with flat early-morning water and short distances between anchorages. Several yachts reposition to the Caribbean for winter, offering warm conditions through to April.
