At 400,000 euros per week, charter yachts in the Tobago Cays area are vessels of 75 to 85 metres, crewed by 14 or 15 and carrying the on-board facilities that define the upper tier of Caribbean superyacht charter. Beach clubs, pools, spa suites and cinema rooms sit alongside a watersports inventory that makes the Tobago Cays’s marine environment fully accessible. Horseshoe Reef, the sea-grass meadows and the hawksbill turtles that inhabit them are reached by tender from the outer anchorage, a standard arrangement for vessels of this beam and draught. The marine park’s calm inner lagoon is suitable for paddleboards and kayaks, and the reef edge carries larger marine life including nurse sharks and eagle rays. Mayreau’s Salt Whistle Bay is a five-mile sail west, enclosed on three sides by a sandbar that reduces even a brisk trade to a flat calm inside the bay. Union Island provides operational support; Palm Island and Petit St Vincent extend the itinerary without adding passage time. The advance provisioning allowance adds approximately 120,000 euros to the weekly base rate, covering extended fuel consumption, gourmet provisioning and private marina fees. Peak season from December through April is the period of highest demand. Guests of 10 to 12 find the ratio of crew depth to personal space particularly well calibrated at this rate.
