About Energy

ENERGY is a Cantieri di Pisa Akhir, built in 2001 and given a thorough refit in 2024, and she is a good deal more yacht than her length suggests. At 33.6 metres she sleeps twelve guests in five cabins – a genuinely high guest count for the size – and the 2024 work has brought her interior right up to date without stripping out the warmth that makes an Akhir an Akhir.

The Akhir is a well-known Italian series, and this is a classic example: a long, low, fast profile, a deep GRP hull that handles a sea properly, and an interior of warm cherry offset here with cream upholstery and grey. The main salon runs the width of the deck, with an L-shaped sofa around an oval table at one end and a quieter seating group with a lounge chair at the other. Forward, the formal dining room seats the full party of twelve under a large contemporary artwork – it is the room where the 2024 refit shows most clearly, in the grey velvet chairs and the reset table.

She carries her guests well. The master is a bright, full-width room with its own seating and a walk-in feel; below it are further doubles and a twin, one cabin convertible, all en-suite and all finished in the same cherry. Twelve guests in five cabins means a couple of the rooms are doing real work, but none of them feels like an afterthought, and the refit reached all of them.

Outside is where a 33-metre Akhir earns its keep. The aft deck carries a shaded dining table a few steps from the water, laid for evening meals as the light drops. Up top, the sundeck is the heart of the yacht: an alfresco dining table under a bimini, a run of sunloungers, a set of weights for anyone who wants them, and clear views over the bow. A separate sunset seating area aft makes the most of the end of the day. Down at water level, the swim platform and the toys spread around her at anchor turn the whole stern into a beach club.

Under way she is quick and composed – twin MTUs, 18 knots cruising and 21 flat out, with stabilisers running underway to keep the passages smooth. That combination suits Greece well: fast enough to cover ground between the island groups, stable enough that nobody minds the crossing, and with a 3.7-metre draft she still reaches into most of the anchorages worth reaching.

ENERGY charters Greece from EUR 59,000 per week. For a recently-refitted 33-metre that sleeps twelve, with a proper sundeck and a full crew of six, that is a genuinely competitive number – the kind of yacht a larger group books when they want space and speed without moving up into a very different price bracket.

She is a lot of yacht for the money, freshly refitted, and she knows Greek waters intimately. For a group of twelve, that combination is hard to argue with.
