GRANDE AMORE reads as a proper Benetti: a 44.2 metre tri deck built for space, shade and slow, sociable days in the Greek islands. Stefano Righini drew her exterior and Francois Zuretti shaped the interior, a pairing that gives her the clean, timeless profile Benetti is known for and rooms that feel warm rather than corporate. A thorough 2023 refit brought her systems, finishes and toys up to date while keeping the character intact.
Her defining quality is volume. At 44 metres she carries the deck space and interior proportions of a far larger yacht, spread across three decks and finished in light, satin timber that keeps every room bright. Twelve guests settle into six cabins, looked after by a crew of nine who know how to run a relaxed charter and stay out of the picture while they do it.
The main deck salon is the social heart, with deep sofas, a low table and full height windows that pull the sea inside. Forward, a separate formal dining room seats the full party around a circular table, a layout that suits long lunches as easily as a proper evening service. Above, a second circular sky lounge offers something quieter and more private, ringed with soft seating beneath a gently domed ceiling and opening onto its own shaded deck.
Outside, GRANDE AMORE is built for the Mediterranean. Her aft decks are broad and permanently shaded, laid with al fresco dining and lounge settings that flow straight off the interior. The sun deck is the headline space, with a raised spa pool, generous sun pads and a shaded bar that make it the natural gathering point from morning coffee to a late anchor drink. A fold down beach club and a full complement of tenders and water toys open the sea up whenever the day calls for it. Paddle boards, inflatables and dive gear round out a deck built for active days as much as lazy ones at anchor.
Accommodation is arranged for comfort and privacy. The full beam master runs the width of the main deck, with its own lounge, wide windows and a marble bathroom. Below, five further guest cabins take couples, friends and families in equal measure, each finished in the same warm timber and each with its own ensuite. The plan keeps the owner’s party and younger guests comfortably apart when the week calls for it.
She cruises at 14 knots with a top end of 15, an easy, steady pace that fits her character. Based in Greece, she is at home threading the Cyclades and the Ionian, dropping into quiet bays by day and lively harbours by night, with the stability and range to make longer passages feel effortless. A week aboard moves at the pace of the islands rather than a schedule.
GRANDE AMORE is a considered choice for a family or a group who want the calm and space of a larger yacht at a measured price, in one of the most rewarding cruising grounds anywhere. She is refined without being formal, generous without being showy, and set up to make a week on board feel simple.
